Who I am...
I am Johan Muñoz
Hi! I’m Johan Muñoz, I’m 17 years old and I live in Quepos, Costa Rica. For over two years, I’ve been dedicated to photography and filmmaking — a passion that brings together art, creativity, and technical skill. Even though it’s not my full-time job yet, I approach every project as a chance to learn, grow, and keep improving in the audiovisual world.
I come from a family of entrepreneurs in the hospitality and restaurant industry, which has inspired me to follow a path connected to business. My goal is to keep studying and growing as a future entrepreneur and administrator, with the vision of innovating and strengthening my family’s company.

What I also do
Outside of work, I’m passionate about sports — especially swimming and volleyball — and I’m always curious about marketing and personal development. I’m also part of the Marching Band Tsidkenu as a Souzafone player in Puntarenas, and this year will be my first time performing at the 2025 Festival de la Luz, something I’m incredibly excited about!
I also work in web development and design, an area that allows me to blend visual creativity with digital functionality — helping people and businesses stand out online.
I’m lucky to have the support of my girlfriend, who’s also my assistant and an essential part of everything I create.

The fun part! We’ll meet up, explore the location, and let things flow naturally. I’ll give light direction when needed, but mostly, we’ll focus on keeping everything real, comfortable, and authentic.
YOUR MEMORIES
After the session, I’ll carefully edit your photos or videos and send them digitally within the agreed time frame. You’ll receive a gallery full of genuine, timeless moments — ready to relive and share.
